Protect zūmo®'s Motorcycle Mount from Harsh Outdoor Elements
Protecting the zūmo®'s motorcycle mount from the elements will help increase its life.
You can Help Protect the Mount by Following the Tips Listed Below:
- Keep pins dry and covered with the included weather cap.
- The included weather cap may be attached to the power cable for some zūmo® models.
- Apply dielectric grease to the pins to create a thin protective coating on the surface of pins.
- Wire power for the mount to a switched power source to provide power to the mount only when the motorcycle is powered on.
- If water does get into the connection area, blow it out with compressed/canned air.
- Mount the device behind fairing (windshield), if available.
These steps will help protect your device and accessories from harsh weather elements.
