The Micro USB Port on My Edge Is Not Working
A non functioning micro USB port found on certain Edge® cycling computers, may result in any of the following symptoms:
Device is not recognized by a computer.
Device does not charge.
Device does not turn on.
USB cable does not plug in correctly.
To ensure that the issue is not related to the device being in a locked up state, or perhaps a malfunctioning USB cable, review the following FAQ: My Garmin Watch or Edge Device Will Not Turn On
If the issue is determined to be a damaged or non-working USB port, you can use our self-service exchange tool. There will be a repair fee to use this service for devices outside of their warranty period. Before you begin, you will need:
Serial Number
This is located on the back of the device. If you cannot read the number you can look up the information in Garmin Connect: Locating Your Serial Number in Garmin Connect
The email address associated with the device.
This should be the email address used to sign into Garmin Connect.
