On the Alpha

Connecting to a Wireless Network for Wi-Fi Updates

1. From Main Menu, select Setup
2. Select Wi-Fi
3. Select the toggle switch to enable Wi-Fi technology
4. Select Add Network
5. Select a wireless network¹ from the list and enter the password

¹ Device specifications are listed in the product manual. The Alpha® dog tracking handhelds do not support 5 GHz Wi-Fi.

In the Alpha app

Connecting to a wireless network through the Alpha app.  Before starting ensure that your Alpha is paired and syncing with the alpha app, see -  Pairing the Alpha 200/200i With the Alpha Mobile App

Once connected, in the Alpha app.

1. Select Devices.
2. Select the Alpha device. 
3. Select WI-FI Networks.
4. Select Add a Network.
5. Select your network.
6. Enter the network password.
7. Select Done.
8. Select Connect.

A Wi-Fi network is now added to your Alpha dog tracking device.
