How Does Heart Rate Data Display in Garmin Connect?
Heart rate information can be viewed a number of different ways in the Garmin Connect™ platform. Both the app and web view will display most of the same information however it will look slightly different. Select an option below to reveal details.
Garmin Connect App
The Garmin Connect app displays heart rate information from the Home page view as shown below.
NOTE: The HRM-Pro™, HRM-Pro™ Plus, and HRM- Fit™ heart rate monitors can only display historical heart rate data and is not capable of displaying real-time heart rate data. Historical data will update after each sync.
Newer watches paired to the app will display real-time heart rate information on the Home page glance as long as the watch is paired and connected. If you are wearing more than one watch and the app detects two heart rate sources, the data from your Primary Wearable Device will be displayed. Selecting the glance will display detailed heart rate information for the current day based on the last time you synced. including any recorded or identified activities for the day.

Viewing heart rate information in Garmin Connect from a web browser will display at-a-glance information from the Home page as shown below.
If you select the Heart Rate glance it will take you to a page to view more details as shown below:
Why Do Heart Rate Values in Garmin Connect Differ from My Watch?
The Resting and High heart rate values displayed in Garmin Connect may differ slightly from the values displayed in the heart rate widget on a watch. This is because Garmin Connect averages out the heart rate values at 2-minute intervals while watches average out the heart rate values at 15-second intervals.
Why Is There a Gap in My All Day Graph?
The all day graph of your heart rate will only display heart rate data from a wearable or compatible heart rate monitor. Below are some examples for when you may see a gap in the all day graph:
NOTE: If you are wearing an HRM-Pro™, HRM-Pro™ Plus, or HRM-Fit™ heart rate monitor, pairing it to the Garmin Connect app on your phone will allow heart rate data to fill in the gaps in the examples below.
