Vortex or Flow Smart Trainer Is Not Providing Resistance or Cadence

Feeling no resistance or seeing no cadence within a connected app can mean that the brake assembly has become separated. As you can see in the left image below, the outside casing on the side has a gap. Use the palm of your hand to close the gap by pressing or popping the outer casing so that it looks like the right side image.
