Pro 550 Plus Troubleshooting Pairing Collars

If a collar is not pairing or connecting to the Pro 550 Plus dog tracking handheld the guidance below can be used to troubleshoot the issue. Make sure to retry the pairing after each option. For instructions on pairing the collars review the owner's manual. To find the owner's manual, if you identified the specific device you are using select manuals on the left of the page, otherwise see the Related Content at the bottom of the page.

Troubleshooting Pairing:

  • Ensure you are using a compatible dog tracking collar (TT™ 15X, TT™ 15, TT™ 15 mini, T 5X, T 5, T 5 mini, or TT™ 10)
  • Turn off any other collars or handhelds that may be near
  • Verify that the devices software are up-to-date
  • Verify that devices are fully charged
    • The Pro 550 Plus handheld's software can be updated with the Garmin Express™ program:

Use Garmin Express program to install Software Updates for this device.  Garmin Express software will indicate if there is an update available for your device.
