How to Set Up DSP Using the Fusion® Audio App

The Fusion® Audio app can be used to set up DSP (Digital Signal Processing) for Fusion® Apollo™ Series stereos and amplifiers.


Compatible DSP Stereos



Setting up DSP for the Internal Amplifier


  1. Connect the mobile device with the Fusion Audio app to the stereo using Wi-Fi or Bluetooth
  2. Open the Fusion Audio app and select the connected stereo
  3. Select the Settings gear in the top-right corner of the screen
  4. Select Music 
  5. Select the Zone the amplifier is connected to
  6. Select DSP Settings
  7. When the download is complete, select Close
  8. Select Internal Amplifier
  9. Select Speaker Type and choose the installed speakers
  10. Select Environment and choose the closest option to the area in which the speakers are installed
  11. Select a second pair of speakers if necessary
  12. Return to the Zone menu and select Send DSP Settings
  13. When the update is complete, select Close

Setting up DSP for External Amplifiers


  1. Connect the mobile device with the Fusion Audio app to the stereo using Wi-Fi or Bluetooth
  2. Open the Fusion Audio app and select the connected stereo
  3. Select the Settings gear in the upper right corner of the screen
  4. Select Music
  5. Select the Zone the amplifier is connected to
  6. Select DSP Settings
  7. When the download is complete, select Close
  8. Select External Amplifier or Subwoofer Amplifier
  9. Select Speaker Type and choose the installed speakers
  10. Select Environment and choose the closest option to the area in which the speakers are installed
  11. Select External Amplifier to specify the amplifier 
  12. Select a second pair of speakers or a separate Tweeter if necessary
    • If using a Signature, FM or AM Series amplifier, the Fusion Audio app will provide the trimpot settings which must be applied to the amplifier before sending DSP settings 
  13. Return to the Zone menu and select Send DSP Settings
  14. When the update is complete, select Close
