This is for when you want to pair your mobile device to your automotive device to use your automotive device as a Bluetooth microphone and speaker for phone calls.
NOTE: This feature is not available on all Bluetooth compatible devices.
Garmin strives to maintain Bluetooth compatibility with as many phones as possible. Here are the requirements needed to pair with an app or your automotive device.
For help with a Bluetooth-related problem, go to Support Center and enter the Product Name or the Serial Number of your device. Once your device is entered, search for "Bluetooth Troubleshooting" under Other, or the Bluetooth / Pairing your Smartphone Common Topic.
The Garmin Catalyst™ app is available for Android in Google Play and for Apple in the App Store.
Android phones and tablets require Android 9.0 and up.
The Garmin Catalyst™ app will not be available in the Google Play Store if the app is incompatible with the device being used.
Trying to install the app to an incompatible device from the Garmin website will prompt this error: "Your device isn't compatible with this version."
iPhones and iPads require iOS 16.4 or later.
