Range Through Objects like Glass or Water

The Approach® Z30, Z80, and Z82 laser range finders are not designed to provide ranges through water, glass, or other clear objects. While the objects may be clear or transparent, they will still reflect some emitted laser light back to the rangefinder causing incorrect readings.
