Creating Picture-in-Picture Videos in the Garmin Drive App
The Garmin Drive™ app allows you to create picture-in-picture videos if you have at least two lenses recording video.
The Garmin Dash Cam™ Tandem comes with two lenses and is compatible with picture-in-picture when it is the only camera being used.
Other Garmin Dash Cams will require at least two cameras.
- You can use any combination of two lenses paired with the Garmin Drive app as long as they were recording video at the same time.

Create a Picture-In-Picture Video written instructions:
1. Open the Garmin Drive app and touch Review Video
2. Select a multi-camera video
- These have two camera icons in the top right corner.
- The Garmin Dash Cam Tandem will have an icon showing a lens on both sides of the camera.
3. On the Trim Screen you can drag the handles on the video progress bar left or right to trim the video length
- You can select two different views to trim.
- Trimming can only be done on this screen.
4. Select the camera view to use as the full-screen portion of video and touch Continue or the upper-right arrow
5. Select the camera view to use as the picture-in-picture portion of the video
6. Touch the corner of the screen where you want the picture-in-picture video to appear and touch Export or the upper right arrow
- You must keep the app in the foreground when exporting a video.
7. Touch Save to Phone
8. Touch Allow if prompted
You can use the sharing options on your phone to save the video or share it externally.
