PRODUCTS AFFECTED:

All GTS 8X0 (GTS 800/820/850) units interfaced to a GTN™ 6XX/7XX (Xi), GNS™ 4XX(W)/5XX(W), G500 (TXi), G500H, G600 (TXi), G700 TXi, G3X Touch™, GI 275, GMX 200, MX20, or other 3rd party flight display systems are affected.

TSO Authorization does not provide installation airworthiness approval. Separate installation airworthiness approval is required for type-certified aircraft. Notification of revision to any Garmin STC(s) will be provided under a separate service bulletin.

Recommended: Compliance with this service bulletin is recommended at the next regularly scheduled aircraft maintenance event.

PURPOSE:

The 2020 IGRF Magnetic Field Model is now available.

Installations with an expired IGRF database may have degraded ADS-B In performance when the aircraft is on the ground.
