Automotive Device Takes a Long Time to Calculate Routes with Multiple Stops

Devices with multiple stop routing that use the Trip Planner tool, Route Planner, or Garmin Explore™ app have a limit of 30 waypoints.

Route calculation can take longer if you have a large number of waypoints on the route, particularly if there is a large distance between waypoints. To cut down on the amount of time it takes to calculate a multiple-stop route, it is recommended to break up the route into multiple sections.
