Using More than One Extension Cable to Connect a GHS 11 to a Garmin VHF Radio
Garmin VHF radios like the VHF 210, 215, and 315 can use a wired GHS 11 handset to control the VHF radio. The GHS 11 comes with a 30 foot (10m) deck mount cable. If additional extension cables are needed, here are a few options:
The maximum length of the extension cables (including the included 10 meter deck mount cable) that can be used, is 40 meters. Any amount of the cables listed above can be used as long as the total length is less than 40 meters.
