Installing Content Using the Connect IQ Store App

Below are steps to install either a Watch Face, Device App, Data Field, Widget, or Music application using the Connect IQ™ app.

Installing a Connect IQ App

  1. Open the Connect IQ app.

  2. Search for Connect IQ features by using one of the options below:

    • Select Search to search by title or filter categories.

    • Select Connect IQ app main menu button to access the main menu and find popular Connect IQ content for your Garmin device.

      NOTE: Contents of the main screen depend on the Garmin® device you currently have selected. Not all of the Connect IQ features are supported on each Garmin device. Steps to change your device can be found below.

  3. Once you have chosen content, select Install.

  4. Select OK if a permissions window populates.

The Connect IQ content will be added to your sync queue. The content will be installed the next time your device syncs with the Garmin Connect™ app or Garmin Express™ program.


Changing the Selected Device in the Connect IQ App

  1. Open the Connect IQ app.

  2. Select Device (bottom right).

  3. Select the Three blue dots stacked vertically in the top right.

  4. Choose Select a Device.

  5. Select the Garmin device you want to use.

  6. Select Connect IQ app main menu button to return to the main menu.


Checking Available Space on Your Garmin Device

  1. Open the Connect IQ app.

  2. Select Device (bottom right).

  3. Beneath Installed Apps you will see the number of apps currently installed, and how much space is remaining. Storage space and app capacity varies by device model.
