Dash Cam 35 Not Able to Playback Videos or Take a Picture

Note: The Safety Camera Fix.exe file is NOT to be used on a North American Dash Cam 35. The Safety Camera files will be deleted if used on a North American Dash Cam.

If the Dash Cam 35 fails to playback videos or take a picture, it may indicate a problem with the pre-installed Safety Camera files on the device.

To correct this problem, take the steps below:

1. Connect the Dash Cam 35 to a Windows¹ computer with a USB cable
2. When the Dash Cam asks if you want to go to Mass Storage, highlight yes and press the Select button
3. Download the Safety Camera Fix.exe file
4. Run the file and follow the onscreen prompts
5. Once the process completes, disconnect the Dash Cam from the computer
6. Connect the Dash Cam to power and turn it on

After installation of these files, the device will be able to take a picture, playback video, and provide Safety Camera alerts.
