My Approach S4 is in the Wrong Language

If your Approach® S4 golf watch is set to the wrong language and you need to change it, the below instructions will guide you through selecting the correct language. If the language is incorrect on your first usage of the watch, follow the steps for resetting the device.

Changing the Language

1. Touch .

   NOTE: Swipe to unlock if needed.

2. Touch  5 times.

3. Touch the middle item.

4. Touch  7 times.

5. Touch the middle item.

6. Touch  until you see your language.

7. Touch your language.

You have now changed the language on your Approach S4 watch.

If you were unable to change the language on your watch using the steps above, the below instructions will guide you through the steps to reset your watch. You will be prompted to select a language after the reset, during initial setup. 

Resetting the Approach S4

1. Power off the watch.

2. Press and hold Score.

3. Press the Power button.

4. Release all buttons when the screen displays Clear user data?

5. Select Yes.

If done properly, the initial setup screen will appear shortly, and the correct language can be selected during setup. 

Note: Any scorecards saved to the watch will remain on the watch after a factory reset.
