Different Media Source Options on the BMW Motorrad Navigator IV, zumo 660, and zumo 665 and How They Work

Garmin's zumo devices offer a variety of options for accessing music or other audio you'd like to hear as you ride. Each audio option offers slightly different functionality. Choose the media source best suiting your needs.

NOTE: Audio requires one of the following: automotive mount with integrated speaker (included), motorcycle mount (included) with audio out connection to sound system or wired headphones (audio cable/headphones not included), or Bluetooth connection with headphone, headset, or helmet (not included).

All audio options mentioned below are accessed by touching Tools on the main menu > Media Player

MP3 Player

• Compatible with BMW Motorrad Navigator IV, zumo 660 and zumo 665
• Connection type: no connection required to access MP3s; plays MP3 files loaded directly to the device and/or the SD card
  • MP3 files will only display album artwork if the artwork is attached to the file before loading it to the device
• Allows you to browse through all available songs by song title, album, artist, genre, and playlist when that information is available
  

Audible Book Player

• Compatible with BMW Motorrad Navigator IV, zumo 660 and zumo 665
• Connection type: no connection required to access the Audible books; plays Audible content loaded directly to the zumo via https://www.audible.com/sw
• Allows you to play content from Audible.com

• Compatible with zumo 665 only
• Connection type: the GXM 40 antenna connected to the zumo
• Allows you to scan through stations or browse by category
