Troubleshooting an Acura NSX Traffic Issue
See the troubleshooting below if your Acura NSX navigation system is not receiving traffic information.
Confirm You're in a Traffic Coverage Area and Check Current Outages
Your navigation system will receive traffic only in areas where the traffic provider has coverage. A coverage map can be viewed here
See Interpreting the HD Digital Traffic Map for tips on interpreting the traffic map.

- Albany, NY: RDS off. ETA TBD.
- Little Rock, AR: RDS and HD off. ETA TBD.
Ensure the Traffic Feature is Enabled on Your System
1. Touch Navigation
2. Touch Settings
3. Touch Traffic
4. Verify there is a checkmark in the box next to Traffic
- If there is no checkmark in the box, touch the box to enable the traffic feature
Acquire GPS Satellite Signal
After ensuring traffic is enabled on your system and verifying you are in a coverage area, allow the device to receive a satellite signal and a traffic signal. This process may take up to 20 minutes.
If you have previously received a traffic signal, you may still receive a traffic signal even without a satellite signal. In this case, the system will use your last known position to determine coverage.
Check for Traffic Subscription (2017 Vehicles Only)
If your 2017 vehicle is not receiving traffic information, check the system for a subscription. To check for a subscription:
1. Touch Navigation
2. Touch Settings
3. Touch Traffic
4. Touch Subscriptions
The next screen should display a HERE traffic subscription. If the subscription screen is blank, take your vehicle to an Acura NSX dealer to be serviced. The dealer will have access to a software fix procedure to resolve this issue.
Observe Traffic Icon
Continuously updated traffic information is available in major metropolitan areas across the contiguous United States and some cities in Canada.
The traffic icon changes color to indicate the severity of traffic conditions, and is located on the map screen in the lower right corner.
- Green - Flowing freely
- Yellow - Moderate traffic condition
- Red - Very slow or stop-and-go traffic
- Gray - No traffic data
NOTE: Some models include a traffic flow indicator instead of an icon. Reference your device's owner's manual for information.
