My Index S2 Is Showing an Incorrect Weight Measurement

If your Index™ S2 smart scale has recently been moved, lifted up, or stored vertically you may notice that the scale's measurements are incorrect. Taring, or "zeroing out", the scale will allow it to reset its zero weight point. To tare your scale:

1. Place the scale on a hard, flat surface.

2. Firmly tap the scale to wake (do not step on the scale).

3. Allow the scale to go to sleep.

4. Wait about 10 seconds.

5. Firmly tap the scale to wake.

6. Take a weight measurement.

Your scale should now be tared and provide correct measurements.
