ecoRoute mileage report
The mileage report tracks the distance, time, average fuel economy, and fuel cost of navigating to a destination.
To view and/or delete a mileage report:
- Touch Tools or Apps
- Touch ecoRoute
- Touch Mileage Report
- Touch the mileage report you'd like to review
To clear all mileage reports at once, follow steps 1-3, then touch Reset. Some devices require that you touch the menu button (three horizontal lines) in order to select Reset. To delete a specific mileage report, follow all four steps above, then touch Delete. Again, some devices require that you touch the menu button in order to select Delete.
Mileage reports are also saved in a CSV file named mileage.csv. This file is located in the device and can be viewed in Excel or another compatible spreadsheet program.
To locate this document:
- Connect the device to a computer
- Open or Explore the Garmin drive
- On Windows, the drive will appear in Computer or File Explorer (This PC)
- On Mac, the drive will appear on your Desktop
- Open the Reports folder
- You may need to open the Internal Storage folder to access Reports
Up to fifty hours of driving time for the fuel economy history is stored on the device. Mileage reports are generated and stored for each route.1 The device can store up to two CSV mileage report files with approximately 250 reports per CSV file. Once both mileage report files are full, the older file is deleted.
