My Name Is Not Displayed on the Index BPM after Garmin Connect App Setup

This indicates that Garmin Connect setup was not successful and your information was not transferred to Index BPM. To retry Garmin Connect setup, follow these steps:

  1. Make sure you are within range of the Wi-Fi network you wish to configure for use on your Index BPM.

  2. Remove the Index BPM from the Garmin Connect app and your phone’s Bluetooth settings.  See FAQ Instructions to Remove and Add a Device in the Garmin Connect App for instructions.

  3. While the Index BPM is turned off, press and hold both the top and bottom buttons at the same time for 10 seconds until a gear icon appears. This will reset Index BPM to factory default settings.

  4. After Index BPM is reset, follow instructions in the owner’s manual to set up with the Garmin Connect app.
