Not Receiving XM Services on zumo Series Devices
If XM services are not displaying on a zumo, ensure that the zumo is being used with the proper GXM accessory (XM antenna). Additional troubleshooting steps may be taken.
Software Update
- Steps for completing an update can be viewed in Updating Automotive Maps and Software with Garmin Express
- Look for any additional updates that mention "XM" or "GXM"
XM Antenna Placement and Mounting
- Requires a clear view of the sky
- Ensure the antenna is not bundled or looped around its self
- Must be at least 10cm away from the device (ideally 30cm apart)
- Ensure proper mounting in general

- Test the XM antenna with both the motorcycle mount and the automotive mount to ensure it isn't the mount that is malfunctioning
