Adding a Duty Status Record in the Garmin eLog App

Past Duty Status Records can be added in the Garmin eLog™ app if necessary. This can be helpful if you are using the app for the first time, forgot to change a duty status, or there was a malfunction.

NOTE: The app allows records to be added for up to 8 days prior to the driver’s profile creation.


To Add a Record in the Garmin eLog App:

Android

1. Open the Garmin eLog app

2. Sign in to the Driver Profile 

3. Touch Add Record

4. Fill in the necessary information

Annotation:

Duty Status:

Android Duty Status

Start and End Date

1. Select the Start or End Date

Android 1

2. Select the date on the calendar, then tap OK

Start Time / End Time:

1. Select the time by the corresponding start or end date

2. Select the time on the clock, then tap OK

Location:

Android location 

5. After filling in the information, touch Save 

Android Save  

The record will now be added.

Apple

1. Open the Garmin eLog app

2. Sign in to the Driver Profile 

3. Touch Add Record

4. Fill in the necessary information

Start Date / End Date:

1. Select the Start or End Date to access the date/time.

2. Select the Date or Time to make changes.

    • Select the date on the calendar:

Location:

After filling in the information, touch Save 

Add Record Save Selections

The record will now be added.
