Interference Notification Icon on the Alpha 200 Plus and Alpha 300 Series

When the Alpha® 200 Plus, Alpha® 300, or Alpha® 300i dog tracking handheld is within range of another radio transmitter that could interfere with tracking, an icon will appear in the Status Bar of the Main Menu. The icon looks like an antenna emitting a wireless signal.

Interference can come from another Alpha dog tracking handheld close by, or another type of radio transmitting device such as marine band radios. If this occurs, it is recommend to increase the distance between you and other radio transmitters to reduce interference.

With the Alpha 200 Plus or Alpha 300 handheld you can easily use the Channel View feature to get a better picture of where you may be experiencing interference and to more easily change the ID of any collars as needed.
