Multiple Panoptix Transducers Connected to a Garmin Chartplotter

Many Garmin chartplotters will accommodate multiple Panoptix™ sonar systems. Certain conditions and requirements must be met for the system to work correctly. A message will display about the transducer conflict if multiple Panoptix transducers are connected and perform the same role. 

• When connecting two Panoptix transducers to the same system, each must have a different role to operate together (excluding the LiveScope™ transducers and Panoptix™ PS70 transducers). 

• Current software on the entire system

Down Transducers

• Panoptix™ PS30 transducer

• Panoptix™ PS60 transducer

• Panoptix™ PS22-TR transducer

Forward Transducers

• Panoptix™ PS31 transducer

• Panoptix™ PS51-TH transducer

• Panoptix™ PS22-TR transducer

LiveScope Transducers (no effect when connected with transducers listed above)

• LiveScope ™ LVS32 transducers

• LiveScope™ Plus LVS34 transducers

• LiveScope™ XR LVS62 transducers 

• Panoptix™ PS70 transducers

Examples of acceptable setups:

• PS22 + PS31

• PS22 + LiveScope + PS60 + PS70

• LiveScope + PS51 + PS30

• LiveScope + LiveScope Plus + LiveScope XR + PS22 + PS31 + PS70 

Unacceptable setups

Below are some examples of unacceptable setups that will receive an error message about the conflict

• PS22 + PS31 + PS21

• PS31 + PS51

• PS30 + PS30

• PS60 + PS30

• PS51 + PS21
