Missing or Corrupt Voice Files on the Tread 2 Series

You can reload and update any audio files missing or corrupt on your automotive device using Garmin Express software.

To Reload or Update Voices: 

1. Download and install Garmin Express software

2. Connect the device to the computer

3. Choose or add your device

4. Click Tools & Content

5. Click the Utilities tab

6. Scroll to Optional Updates

7. Click Language Files and select the desired language(s)

 

8. Scroll down and click Install Now

 

The voice language on your device can now be changed.

To Change the Voice Language: 

1. Touch Settings

Select settings for tread 2 

2. Touch System

 Select system settings tread 2

3. Touch Voice Language

Select voice language tread 2 

4. Touch the desired voice language, then select Save.

The device will now speak the selected voice language.
