Swing Metrics Displayed in Driving Range Mode
The Driving Range mode in the Garmin Golf™ app allows you to practice on a virtual driving range, and provides detailed metrics for every shot recorded by your Approach® R10 portable golf launch monitor.
The metric data should be shared with a professional golf instructor for proper interpretation in order to improve your game.
Changing Swing Metrics
By default, Total Distance, Carry Distance, and Total Deviation Distance will be displayed at the top of Garmin Golf app. You can change the swing metrics that are displayed by touching the swing metric fields and picking a new metric to display there.

Viewing Types of Metrics and Their Descriptions
You can view a description of what each metric data field means by pressing and holding on a specific metric.
Open the Garmin Golf app.
Select

Select Start Training.
Select one of the Practice ranges.
Select Start Session.
Press and Hold one of the three data fields at the top of the screen to view a description of the data field.
NOTE: To change a swing metric data field, select a swing metric field, you can choose to have any of the following metrics displayed.

Enabling Spoken Audio Metrics
You can receive individual metrics audibly after each shot.

NOTE: Only one audible metric can be played at a time.
The selected metric will now play after each shot depending on your phone's audio settings or, if it is paired, with a separate Bluetooth audio player.
