Sleep Mode
When using an Alpha® dog tracking handheld with compatible collars, you will be able to put the collar in Sleep Mode. Sleep Mode can be used to conserve the battery when you are not actively tracking your dog. Sleep Mode can be used at a distance, as long as the handheld and collar are fully able to communicate.

Rescue Mode extends the battery life of the dog tracking collar to allow for more time to locate the dog. Enabling Rescue Mode changes the collar settings so when the collar reaches 25% battery life the update rate for the collar automatically changes to 2 minutes. To turn on this mode the dog collar must be within 10 feet (3 meters) of the handheld. You can not enable rescue mode at a distance.
