Impact Accuracy Issues

The Impact™ bat swing sensor can be mounted on all types of baseball bats to record and provide swing analysis including Bat Speed, Hand Speed, Time to Impact, Elevation Angle, Attack Angle and 3D Swing Path. Note: You must make contact with a ball when swinging to record useful swing analysis data.

Most Impact sensor recording and accuracy issues result in hitting something other than a ball.

Other issues can result from out of date operating software on the sensor, software updates are periodically released to help improve the performance of the sensor. It would be recommended to connect the device to a computer and perform a software update with the Garmin Express™ program.
