"No Detailed Maps Found That Support Routing" or "No Map Data Available" on a Garmin Automotive Device
There may be a problem with the mapping files if maps are missing from your device.
The result can be a “No Detailed Maps Found That Support Routing” or "No Map Data Available" message displayed when searching for a destination. This may also cause the device to show only the locations of major cities or major highways with no side streets when viewing the map.
To Resolve this Map Issue, see the Troubleshooting for your Specific Device in our Support Center:
- Go to Support Center
- Enter your Product Name or Serial Number (Ex. Garmin Drive™ 60LM GPS navigator)
- Once you select your device, click on the Other Topic box
- Click in the Enter a topic field and type No Detailed Maps
- Click on "No Detailed Maps Found That Support Routing" or "No Map Data Available" Message on a Garmin Automotive Device
