Deleting Your Garmin Account
A Garmin account can be deleted at any time. There is no way to stop the process once started. Once an account has been submitted for deletion it is no longer recoverable.
Step 1: Learn What Deleting Your Account Means
Garmin operates multiple websites, apps and services that require this account. If you choose to continue with your data deletion request, we will permanently delete data for all Garmin sites, apps, and services using this account such as: The Connect IQ™ Store, flyGarmin® desktop program, Garmin.com, Garmin Connect™ accounts, the Garmin Dive™ app, Garmin Pilot™ app, inReach® satellite communicator, Navionics®, and Tacx®.
Deleting your data does not impact the ability to update preloaded map and subscription content installed on your device. However, deleting your data will delete your account and will cancel and forfeit any credits and any time remaining on the subscriptions associated with your Garmin account as well as any additional map purchases.
Step 2: Deleting Your Account
Sign In.
Under the DATA MANAGEMENT section, select the DELETE YOUR DATA option.
Review the content and if you would like to proceed with the deletion, select CONTINUE.
Enter the account password and select YES, DELETE to submit your delete request.
NOTE: This change is permanent, and you will not receive refunds for any apps or remaining subscriptions.
Once submitted, you will see a confirmation message confirming your submission.
Deletions typically take about 48 hours to complete, but depending on the number of requests being processed and the amount of data associated with your profile could take up to 30 days. Garmin will send a notification to your primary email address when it is complete.
