The Garmin Connect™ platform offers Garmin Coach plans that can be used to guide you towards your goal of completing a specific cycling discipline. Below are answers to frequently asked questions about this feature.

What Garmin Products Can I Use With These Plans?
Edge® cycling computers that have a workout feature along with select multisport watches can take advantage of these plans. View your owner's manual and search "Workouts" for more information.
Garmin Coach plans can also be used with compatible Tacx® smart trainers using the Tacx Training™ app or Tacx Training™ Desktop app. Refer to Using Garmin Connect Workouts in the Tacx Training App for more information.
What Activity Profiles Can I Use With My Garmin Coach Plan?
When a Garmin Coach Plan workout is sent over to your device, it can be used with any indoor or outdoor profile that is compatible with that workout type.
Are There Any Other Requirements to Use These Plans?
Use of a heart rate monitor or power meter is required. Using both is encouraged for the most accurate workout suggestions.
An indoor trainer is not required, but some workouts will recommend using one to better measure performance and remove outside factors like traffic, hills, and wind.
How Long Does It Take To Complete a Training Plan?
The length of each plan varies based on your current training level and how much time you can devote to the plan each week. Training can take as little as six weeks to as much as 30 weeks.
Can I Reschedule a Workout?
NOTE: If you are trying to re-schedule a self-guided plan workout, this must be done using the web version of Garmin Connect. The Garmin Connect mobile app does not support this option.
Yes, you can reschedule a workout using these steps:
From a web browser, sign into your Garmin Connect account.
From the left-hand navigation menu select Calendar.
Drag the workout in question from the scheduled date to the date of your choice.
Sync your device before completing your next activity.
