Easyhunt eTrack Tracker User Manual and Troubleshooting Guide

This article is for you who have an Easyhunt™ eTrack mini 4G or an eTrack Pro dog tracking device and are getting started for the first time, or if you have encountered problems during the process.

Get started with eTrack mini 4G Tracking Device

  1. Add the dog tracker to your profile.
    • To be able to get the tracker up and running, an Easyhunt account is required. This can be created via www.easyhunt.com. If you already have an account, log in to your account via the same link.

  2. Go to Profile in the top right corner.

  3. Then click on the "Dog trackers" tab and then select Add eTrack.

  4. Then enter the desired name for the tracker/dog followed by the IMEI number for the tracker. This is written on the tracker or on the original box that the tracker came in. Also click the boxes for each hunting team that you want the tracker should be visible for.

  5. Now that the track is added to your account, you can subscribe to an ETRACK+ subscription under the ETRACK+ column.

    Then follow the payment steps that will appear after you click according to the image above.

  6. Before use for the first time, we recommend that you charge the tracker for at least 3 hours. The tracker indicates charging when it slowly flashes red. When it has a solid red glow, this indicates that the tracker is fully charged.

  7. Download the Easyhunt app to your Smartphone and log in to the same account you added the track to. Then go to Map in the app.
    (If you are in several hunting teams, make sure to use the hunting team that you have chosen for which the bearing should be visible. See step 4)

  8. Then go outside and start the tracker. Make sure that you are in a open space so that the tracker has good conditions to make contact with GPS and mobile networks. When the tracker makes contact, after a little while you will start receiving position updates from the tracker directly in the app on the map.

Get started with eTrack Pro Tracking Device

  1. Add the dog tracker to your profile.
    • To be able to get the tracker up and running, an Easyhunt account is required. This can be created via www.easyhunt.com. If you already have an account, log in to your account via the same link.

  2. Go to Profile in the top right corner.

  3. Then click on the "Dog trackers" tab and then select Add eTrack.

  6. Before use for the first time, we recommend that you charge the tracker for at least 8 hours. The charging plate indicates that the tracker is charging when it flashes green. A solid green light is displayed when the tracker is fully charged.

  7. Download the Easyhunt app to your Smartphone and log in to the same account you added the track to. Then go to Map in the app.

Checklist if the eTrack mini 4G tracker does not work

If you do not see the dog or any dog ​​symbol in the app for the trackers current position, we have this checklist to ensure that all criteria are met so that you can see the tracker in the app.
  • Check that the correct IMEI number is entered in your account and that there is an active subscription.
    • Under Profile > Dog Trackers, ensure that the IMEI matches what is written on the back of the tracker. And that the date under ETRACK+ is valid.

  • Check that the tracker is visible to your hunting teams / the hunting team you use in the app by clicking Edit.

  • Make sure the tracker has plenty of battery. Put the tracker on charge for at least 4 hours. The tracker indicates charging when it slowly flashes red. When it is fully charged, the LED lights up in a solid red light.

  • Restart the tracker and go outside with the tracker to an open area so that you give the tracker good conditions to connect with the GPS and the mobile network.
    • When the tracker flashes twice with yellow or green, the tracker has contact with the mobile network. When it flashes blue twice, it has contact with GPS.

  • Restart the app, select a hunting team for which you have chosen the tracker to be visible (See point number 2). Then go to Map in the app and see if you can now get the tracker on the map.

Checklist if eTrack Pro tracker does not work

If you do not see the dog or any dog ​​symbol in the app for the trackers current position, we have this checklist to ensure that all criteria are met so that you can see the tracker in the app.
  • Check that the correct IMEI number is entered in your account and that there is an active subscription.
    • Under Profile > Dog Trackers, ensure that the IMEI matches what is written on the back of the tracker. And that the date under ETRACK+ is valid.

  • Check that the tracker is visible to your hunting teams / the hunting team you use in the app by clicking Edit.

  • Make sure the tracker has plenty of battery. Put the tracker on charge for at least 8 hours. The charger flashes green when the tracker is charging and it will show a solid green light if the tracker is fully charged.

  • Restart the tracker and go outside with the tracker to an open area so that you give the tracker good conditions to connect with the GPS and the mobile network.
    • The GSM light will flash purple twice when the tracker has contact with both the Easyhunt server and with the app via the mobile network.
    • The GPS light will flash blue or light blue depending on how many satellites it is in contact with. But blue or light blue shows it is getting GPS position.

  • Restart the app, select a hunting team for which you have chosen the tracker to be visible (See point number 2). Then go to Map in the app and see if you can now get the tracker on the map.
