Using the Approach G80 Without a Ball
You are able to use the Approach® G80 golf device without a ball to get club head speed and swing tempo data only.1 Other data, such as carry distance, will not be given when a ball is not hit. To get readings without hitting a ball, the Approach G80 device must be positioned as if you were hitting a ball, see Positioning the Approach G80 for using Radar Features.
