Troubleshooting the Impact Bat Swing Sensor
If your Impact™ Bat Swing Sensor is unable to turn on, freezing up, or not syncing with the Impact app, use the troubleshooting steps below to help resolve the issue.
Troubleshooting Syncing
NOTE: Most recording and accuracy issues are a result of hitting something other than a ball.
Check for Software Updates
- Ensure the sensor is using the last software. To update the software, connect the sensor to a computer and perform a software update with the Garmin Express™ program.
- Ensure the Impact app is up to date, by checking the app store for your phone.
Mounting the Sensor
Make sure the sensor is mounted properly by following the instructions in the owner's manual.
Remove the Pairing From the Impact App
Remove the sensor from the Impact app, and pair it back to the app.
Troubleshooting Lockups and Freezing
Check for Software Updates
Ensure the sensor is using the last software. To update the software, connect the sensor to a computer and perform a software update with the Garmin Express program.
Perform a Hard Reset
If the sensor is frozen or locked up, try a reset.
- Press and hold Power until the sensor turns off
- Press Power to turn the sensor on
