Exported IFTA Not Found in the Folder When Connected to a Computer
After exporting IFTA fuel reports, they can be accessed by connecting the device to your computer and navigating to the IFTA folder on the device's internal memory.
NOTE: A Windows computer must be used for these steps. See Automotive Device Compatibility with Garmin Mac Applications on macOS for more info.
IFTA reports are generated in a comma separated value (.csv) file format. An application such as Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, or another spreadsheet editor application which supports .csv files is required for opening and viewing jurisdiction summaries and trip reports when connected to a computer.
The reports will appear unreadable or may not open at all if using an application that does not support .csv files.

If the Reports are Missing or the Folder is Empty After Exporting the Logs, Take the Following Steps:
Unplug the dēzl™ from the computer
If the device is still powered on, press and hold the power button for 2-3 seconds, then touch Power Off.
Wait a few moments, then press the power button to turn the device back on
Once the device starts up to the main menu (Where To? / View Map), plug the device back into the computer
Open the dēzl™ device drive to view the IFTA files, see: Where Exported IFTA Reports are Saved on the dēzl™ OTR Devices.
The log files should now appear in the folder.
If the files still do not appear, turn the computer off completely, then power it back on and try viewing the files again.
