Sending a File, Folder, Photo or Video to Garmin Product Support

Garmin Product Support may ask for a file, photo or video in order to investigate an issue. You can use Secure File Upload to send the files to Product Support. If sending a Garmin Folder, it will need to be compressed before uploading it to Product Support. Follow the instructions below on how to send a file.

Secure File Upload Instructions

NOTE: The secure file upload tool has a size limitation of 1200 MB.

  1. Open Secure File Upload.

    • If you are on a mobile device you may be prompted to complete the security check to access the page.

  2. Enter the email address associated with your Garmin account.

  3. Check the box indicating you have read and agree to the Terms of Use.

  4. Select Continue.

  5. Select Browse Your Device.

  6. Locate and select the file(s) or compressed Garmin folder.

  7. Select Open.

  8. Select Upload.

  9. Confirm you see a message: Success! Your Files Have Been Uploaded.

  10. If you need to add more files choose the Select More Files option.

  11. Once you have uploaded all files, select SUBMIT.

    • If using a mobile device, you may need to scroll toward the bottom of the page to see the Submit option.

  12. Verify that you get the confirmation message that says: Thank you! Your File Submission is Complete.

  13. Send an email back to Product Support to verify we received the files since an automated message is not sent.
